Galileo Program SRK Sijangkang Jaya

On the 23rd August 2003, NEC Semiconductors Malaysia Sdn Bhd organized The Galileo Program at Sekolah Rendah Sijangkang Jaya at Teluk Panglima Garang Selangor. The main activity was the science experiments involving 120 students from 8 primary schools which were then divided into 20 groups. The activity was assisted by more than 40 employees from NEC Semiconductors Malaysia Sdn Bhd and school teachers.

The ceremony was officiated by Capt ( R ) Shaharuddin bin Hj Omar and Puan Marlina Tan binti Abdullah, the Assistant Director representing Selangor State Education Department.

The Galileo Program was initiated in Japan by junior and high school teachers back in 1986. The program delivers education in an enjoyable way by making learning science a fun experience.
The event was organized by the Administration Department.
