Visit to "Rumah Sayangku"
‘Rumah Sayangku’ was established as a school for special children since November 1994 managed by local Welfare Department and PIBKI (Parents Teachers Association for Special Children) as to-date manages about 73 children of various ages ranging from 2 months old infant to 14 years old youth.
The school focused on children with ‘Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Hyperactive and Slow Learner.
NECSEM in collaboration with PIBKI introduced an hour visit to ‘Rumah Sayangku’ by In-Plant Clinic Nurse on weekly basis. The purpose of the visit is to conduct basic medical check, assist in physiotherapy and educating parents on health and hygiene.
NECSEM is also looking for volunteers amongst employees with skills in teaching baking, sewing, flower arrangement, flower tree planting, sports and computer to be included in the activities.
